Baltic Amber Jewelry

Baltic Amber is a beautiful light catching substance believed to have pain-relieving and anti-inflammatory properties (although not scientifically proven) due to it containing succinic acid. It ranges in color from yellow to orange to brown tones, and is formed from plant resin. Baltic Amber washes up on the coast of the Baltic Sea; this region has the largest deposit of amber in the world, and dates back 44 million years.
